SFP is seeking experienced and qualified automation and fluid power sales specialists for our East, Middle and West Tennessee territories. SFP is a tri-technology distributor for Parker, including fluid connectors, hydraulics, and pneumatics. We are also distributor partners for top tier manufactures such as ABB, Balluff, Des-Case, Destaco, Schmersal, and many others. Qualified personnel will have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in either automation or fluid power sales and will be expected to achieve maximum sales growth within an assigned territory. Above all, all applicants must be a team player at the highest level. SFP has a long, established presence, currently celebrating 60 years in business. Established in 1961, we have 6 locations: Chattanooga, Clarksville, La Vergne, Murfreesboro, and Morristown TN, along with 1 location in North Georgia with plans for future expansion. Account Managers answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers Ideally, candidates for this role will know how to meet ambitious individual and team-wide sales quotas Ultimately, a successful Account Manager should collaborate with our sales team to achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long run Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas Prepare reports on account status Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
